About the Role
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at Family & Friends Home Care. As an STNA, you will be responsible for providing hands-on care to our clients in their homes, under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. You will work closely with other members of our healthcare team to develop and manage personalized care plans for our clients that promote their independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.
Requirements
The STNA role at Family & Friends Home Care is a vital position that offers a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for growth. As an STNA, your primary responsibilities will include assisting clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing assistance with mobility and transferring. You will also help clients with medication management, meal preparation, and light housekeeping tasks. Additionally, you will work closely with other members of our healthcare team to ensure that our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care that meets their unique needs and preferences. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all care provided, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a State Tested Nursing Assistant with excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for providing compassionate and high-quality care to our clients.
